Background:
Dr Popoola O.M is a Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He specialised in Fish Genetic and Biotechnology with his research focus on molecular marker development and their application in fish breeding, health and conservation genetics and aquatic genetic resource management.
He has also involved in various consultancy services under USAID related to fish farming and other bodies involves in fish conservation and environmental management. He has published 21 research papers in peer reviewed journals and guided three PhD students.
